When a lotion isn't enough
Some skin drinks a lotion and is dry again by lunchtime. If that's yours, the answer isn't applying more of it. It's a thicker texture that stays on the skin longer.
This is the Maxitone formula in a cream form. Same LIMA complex at the same dosage, same intent, in a more substantial texture. Choose it over the lotion if your skin is very dry, if you're in a dry season, or if you simply prefer a cream.
The LIMA complex
Glabridin, drawn from purified licorice root, together with mulberry root extract. Both have been studied for their action on the enzymes involved in melanin production, and both work gradually, over weeks of consistent use rather than days.
The dosage here matches the lotion. What differs is the base carrying it, and how long that base stays on the skin.
Thicker, not heavy
A cream that sits greasily on the surface isn't doing more work, it's doing less, because nothing is getting in. We built this one around shea butter and glycerin in a base that absorbs fully despite its thickness.
You should be able to dress within a couple of minutes of applying it. If you can't, the cream is wrong, not your skin.
