Two ways to use one bottle

Most of the range is designed for the whole body. This one isn't, or rather, it can be either.

Applied directly, it concentrates on smaller areas where you want the most visible result. Mixed into your Maxitone lotion or cream, it raises the strength of your whole routine without changing anything else about it. Both approaches work; use whichever fits how you actually get dressed in the morning.

Concentration is the point

The LIMA complex appears throughout the Maxitone range. Here it's dosed higher than anywhere else we make, which is the entire reason this product exists.

Glabridin from licorice root does the work, studied for its action on the enzymes involved in melanin production. In a serum base with almost nothing else in the way, there's less carrying it and more of it.

And vitamin C, for what it protects against

We added ethyl ascorbic acid, a stable form of vitamin C. Its role here is antioxidant: neutralising the free radicals generated by sun and pollution that drive both uneven tone and visible ageing.

Working on evenness while leaving the skin exposed to what causes unevenness is half a job. This is the other half.

  • The LIMA complex at its highest concentration in the range
  • Vitamin C for antioxidant protection
  • Use directly on targeted areas, or mix into your lotion or cream
  • A few drops is the full dose

What you'll notice

  • A more visible result on the specific areas you treat
  • Your usual lotion or cream working harder when mixed
  • Very little product used per application
  • Results building over weeks of consistent use

For targeted use. Introduce gradually.

Twice daily. Apply a few drops directly to the area you want to work on and massage in gently, or add a few drops to a palmful of your Maxitone Complexion Lotion or Cream, mix, and apply as usual.

Start with one application a day for the first week to check how your skin responds, then move to twice daily. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.

Warning: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Not for use on children under 12. Avoid contact with the eyes; rinse thoroughly if contact occurs. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Use sun protection during and after use. Patch test before first use.

Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, BHT, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid.

Ingredient list may vary slightly between production batches. Always refer to the packaging.

This list is unusually short for a serum and does not include water, which is atypical. It may be incomplete in the catalogue. Verify the full declaration against the physical bottle before publishing. This is the product where an incomplete INCI carries the most regulatory risk, given the claims it supports.

  • Highest LIMA concentration in the range
  • Vitamin C for antioxidant protection
  • Use neat or mix into your lotion or cream
  • Targeted application
  • A few drops per use
  • Twice daily
